This year we’ve booked 50 top tribute bands, 20 playing the main stage which are specifically chosen to cover a wide range of age groups so everyone knows some of the music, or better still, all of it! We also have 25 tribute bands playing the VIP Big Top with lots of other fantastic music, comedy, fun and frolics around the site. Lookalikes, VIP Big Top/Bar, Main Bar, Unsigned Marquee, Acoustic Marquee, Laughing Bull Comedy Marquee, Freedom Road Under 20s Marquee, Karaoke/Silent Disco Marquee, Dance Marquee, KidZone, Retail Stalls and Catering Outlets. Plus camping for 4 days!
All the regular services you would find at any other major festival are provided. Toilets, hot showers, electrical hook-ups, first aid, top security and fun, friendly staff. Our facilities are one of the best in the country.
Tribfest has already made some big waves having been nominated for UK Festival Awards in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013 – Best Small Festival, Best Family Festival & Best Toilets.
Tribfest has a capacity of 5,000 so it doesn’t get overcrowded like some of the other festivals and has achieved great acclaim in such a short space of time.
Tribfest was featured in “The Sun” in 2011 and a six-page pull out in the national magazine “Esquire”. Plus regular appearances on BBC Look North and BBC Radio Humberside and KCFM. In 2012 NME Magazine visited the festival and ran an article on the sometimes weird and wacky world of tribute bands in September 2012. “The Sunday People” ran an article in mid August 2013, focusing on the bands that would be appearing at Tribfest.
