Hello all,
I have a few camping trips planned over the school summer holidays and wondered if any other like-minded people fancied joining me?
I will be in my tent but I am more than happy to meet up with other campers, caravanners or motor-homers.

Deershed Festival, near Thirsk - 25th July - 2 nights
Sleningford Watermill, near Ripon - 4th August - 3 nights
Black Bull Caravan Park, Pickering - 11th August - 4 nights
Barnard Castle C&CC site - 19th August - 3 nights
Cote Ghyll, Osmotherley - 25th August - 4 nights

I hope I might finally get to meet some other UKCS members!

I am avoiding the school holidays, and have planned my last trip for the year in September after the holidays.

Desperately trying to catch up with nights away as I have only managed 4 so far this year!
I wouldn't normally have that many camping trips planned in the school summer holidays but I work in a school so I am a bit limited to when I can get away and just wanted to make the most of having 6 weeks off. Plus I am introducing a friend and her son to the joys of camping and had to fit in with her work/holiday dates.
Hoping to get an odd weekend away in my caravan too!!

Pickering is a possibility,Barnard Castle and Cote Ghyll sound quite positive.Any objections to my Lunar Roadstar, little dog and me (male)? Walking,chilling,food and a glass or two, oh and a chin wag is normally on the agenda.

Don't bake, use sun block.

I'm seriously tempted to try and make it to Sleningford this weekend but we're about to move and the lack of packing is giving me nightmares! DD (6) and I had our first trip out in our Gobi 4 last weekend at Ripley and had a fab time so desperate to keep the ball rolling. Do you know how the weather's looking yet?
