Just joined this site hoping to find like minded campers and campervaners to meet up for weekends/short camping breaks around the UK.
I can't get any of my friends interested in coming away with me and not very keen on going it alone. I also have two young daughters (2 and 4) who I'd love to introduce to camping so if there are any other single parents that are keen on meeting that would be a bonus.
I love Cornwall and Devon, but would love to see what the rest of the UK has to offer. The coast is a big draw, especially for the walks and pubs.
If anyone can point me in the right direction of any meet ups that you think would be suitable it would be much appreciated.
I'm a male, 38, easy going, friendly and have a big love for music, especially live gigs, old pubs with character, and love getting away. I don't get my camper out enough and hope to get some more opportunity this summer.

hi its august bank holiday weekend Friday till Monday.if you book now £45 each kids 15 check their web site.....thebigtribute its got videos on there we go every year about 40 of us from our local pub with kids never any trouble kids have their own music and crafts tent theirs the main stage and beer tent with entertainment .its at lovesgrove abberytswith only 5 mins from town center .the foods good you can take your own in themain arena beers cheap you can drink in your tent but cant take it into main arena the site has showers running water litter collection daily and the toilets are spotless.if you want to know more im not on face book but I can get my wife to accept you so you can see our pics all the best stu and sue.

Some of the groups may be adult only. I thought there were groups out there for single parents but can't think of their names at the moment. Hope this helps.
Noticed you have a VW, have you tried joining any VW clubs too? We have a T25 & are members of several local groups via FB. Met some lovely people through these. We also end up talking to lots of other VW campers on every site we go on. Its addictive & they're a friendly bunch! Have fun 😊
