This will be the frist UKcampsite meet for my son and I. I cannot wait to go and would like to hear from anyone who may be going here also. Only travelling from Edinburgh so not too far but far enough for first time. I have visions of both of us being frustrated enough to give up, pack up and head home.  Hope not though....

Not going to this one Helenback, but just get there, you will not be fustrated once there . there will be plenty of help on hand the only fustration will be at the end of weekend when you will have to leave all the friends  that you'll make, and wait until you get back home  to speak to them on here.

You'll have a great time someone will be along shortly thats going.

Hi Helen...Hoping to get to this one myself...Went to visit the site last week..and I dont think you will be disapointed with either the site...scenery...and from what I know of them.. the company...When you talk of frustraition..I trust you mean putting your tent up etc etc...Please dont worry about that...When I went on my 1st meet within 5 mins I had a cuppa in my hand...and 3 adults to help me put my TT up...Plenty of kids will be going...so dont fret about the boy...you probably wont see him all w/end...There will be plenty for you to do..either as part of the group..or as a family unit whatever suits you..as no pressure is put on anyone to do anything at these meets...All friendly and helpful people at a Scottish meet..Only one I'd warn you off from is Winstaaan who will bore the pants off you talking about his life in GlesgaGet yourself along there and enjoy yourself...you will be made more than welcome...

Thanks Jelboy, I can't wait to go. Thanks for the reassurance, everyone sounds really friendly and welcoming. It will be so good for the wee fellow. Will see you there then.

Hi Helen

We too will be going, we have stayed on this site before and it is as Jelboy said spectacular. 

Our 14 year old son comes with us so it won't be long till all the stroppy teenagers get together!
