Love camping ,( tent ) but bit lonely by yourself .
Majority of posts are for camping buddies up north.
Anyone near the south coast interested in camping with another single for company ?
I have camped in Sussex, last year went to Park Farm in Bodium. I recently went to Ship and Anchor in Ford but I usually go with friend and her 2 children aged 4 and 7.
I may be able to go on my own at some point but need to go by train, it would be nice to camp with other adults so I could do a decent length walk
I am in Sussex too. Normally I camp either with my kids, or my kids and partner, but I am looking to fit in plenty of solo weekend camps too from now on just me and the dog:) Looking for likeminded people to meet up with! Oh and I have a campervan:)

I have just found this site and thought I would give it a go...
I'm a 51 year old mother of two amaizing independent kids (both on their 20's), I love camping with my awesome dog, Archie, a 5 year old cocker spaniel x border collie x.
I have a camper van that's not too big that I can still sneak down little lanes but just big enough for Archie and I.
I live in jersey and love going to France as its only just over an hour away to St.Malo, Brittany. Close enough for a long weekend. I also visit the south of England as my daughter is at uni in Winchester but hope to travel more over the next few years.
I'm looking for someone who fancies joining me at some point, for a weekend/week. I do go away on my own but prefer company for some of it or all of it.
I prefer small quiet sites, walking, visiting villages/small towns/ free or cheap places of interest, chilling in the evening after a good day out and I enjoy a glass of wine around a camp fire.
Anyway I'm willing to give it a go if that sounds of interest to anyone who likes to do a similar thing, and fancies a bit of companionship too, obviously don't have to spend every hour of every day together, that would be too much, I'm sure you agree!
I am in Guernsey and just starting out again on camping trips, am planning more in the UK this year but my sister has a holiday home in Brittany that I hope to use as a base for French travelling over the next few years.
