Would love a couple of nights away camping but alas working those dates and Scotland too far to travel for only a couple of nights. Scotland would definitely be a possibility for later in the year / and or a longer stay, not been up that way for years. I'm in Wales

Yes that would be a long travel for you for 2 nights.
Maybe later in the year could sort something out.

I've done quite a bit over the years for various reasons. Always better on a site that you feel comfortable with. Nice though to have some company to grab a meal and a drink with sometimes and just good to meet new people, experience new places and get ideas as to other spots to visit.
Any favourite spots to recommend up your way?
