Due to the wonders of modern technology, it is now possible to post from johnnyforeignerland, so long as I keep pedalling this bike!
Oi !!! Don't be cheeky, i thought you'd decided not to go Hope you're having a great time
Great meet, wish we could have stayed for the week, never know maybe that had another quiz to enter.
Thanks to Loopy and Les, another great meet. Enjoyed as much as Weymouth, Loopy if you are doing a meet there next year, we are up for it, us old timers have to get away as much as possible. Alun has 365 leiu days a year and he struggles to take them all, me I only have 4 weeks. Looking forward to Newlands, thanks to you and Suzie for the offer of lecy for the bed if we are unable to get an electic pitch. see you in a months time
I really missed it all by the sounds of things.
Anyone, and I mean anyone, try and stop me from doing a week next year!
Jealous bit
Anyway, I heard, and saw, that the weather went a bit t**s up when I LEFT, so there, if ya don’t have a SUNSHINE PERSON around, then you won’t get the weather!
Now, if ya want guaranteed sunshine next year then I suggest you all pay me a fiver!
Ladies (were there any, woooooooooooo!) would be able to pay me in my favourite currency which only last 20 seconds per person!
Look forward to it.
Not jealous I couldn’t stay, REALLLLLYYYYYY!
Sorry to be a pain but I showed my Mum the photos and she likes the one of Philip playing football so much she wants a copy.
I seem to remember you offering to email photos when you first posted them. Could you please email me that one, the one of him batting and the one of Katie covered in stones to alan.dunster at blueyonder.co.uk if you get time.
Thanks lots.
Liz
PS - The kids want to know if you are going to the Newlands meet - you seem to have made a lasting impression!
No problem, I shall get straight onto it when I get home.
September a dodgy time for me as I am on courses for THREE Sundays on the trot, I shall check when I get home and let you know in the email.
Yeah, I’m a real KIDDIE MAGNET (unfortunately NOT a babe magnet, boo hoo!), the courses that I am going on are to train kiddies funnily enough to play hockey properly!
Shame you couldn’t get to the Sumners Ponds meet for August Bank Holiday, it sounds like it’s gonna be a right laugh with me organising a WORLD RECORD attempt for how many people in a round kiddy pool!
That and my kids going fishing for the 1st time ever, although not with me, cos it bores me stupid!
Right peeps, finally got round to resizing some pics, went to upload them and it won't accept treasure as the password as previously mentioned on this thread, i didn't get an A to Z so don't know what password to use
Great pictures, Start Bay looks nice, shall be going there next year.
The PINK lorry, very pretty, and very apt!
In general the pictures show everyone HAVING FUN, we did have SOME FUN, but feel a bit grieved that we couldn’t have SOME MORE FUN!
Oh well, watch out for the CASHEY CREW being there ALL WEEK next year (no groaning from the back row please!), maybe even in a TRAILER TENT! (Watch this space, obviously NOT all the time as you might want to go camping, or to the toilet perhaps!)
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
