Thanks for info about the Rutland new year meet, we will keep it in mind, not sure it may be a bit far for us. We live in North Wales, but taking my dad to Oxford to stay with my brother for Christmas, was really hoping to find somewhere between there and here, that we could visit, always open to ideas. Not camped with you before do we have to get amembership card to show we belong, and what is the procedure do we have to pre book with you, or can we turn up and pay when we arrive? Like reading your pages picked up loads of info, really useful thanks,
just look at the new year thread Rutland & all the details are there you are a member already by posting on here theres nothing to pay till you arrive on site but you must register ( details on 1st post ) and then phone the site to reserve your pitch

At Townleys camp site near the East Kirkby Aviation Heritage Centre, Spilsby , Lincolnshire their restaurant serves Christmas Dinner over Christmas and on Christmas Day. It is a five van plus tents site but you can book the meal in their restaurant even if you are staying elsewhere. Search Townleys.

we are off to craigielands country park beattock moffat nr dumfries and galloway they are having a massive new year party but it is ticket only so i will be first in line i think the tickets are £10 each but it does include a buffet,champange, live entertainment, quiz,disco, ect it they say it is very popular and sales out fast we have hired one of the wooden lodge type homes has anyone been to this event before !!!!!!!!!
