a rant -  im a very unhappy skessa

we have had our car vandlelized (sp), it needs two new wiper arms,a new windscreen,a new airael,and a new bonnet.

This didnt happen outside my house,not even in my street.This happend at an ARMY camp (my hubby works there) the soldiers from a certain unit went out and got smashed, came back to camp and had a fight, smashing my car in the process  

cant get the wiper arms til friday, autoglass wont put a new windsreen in til the wiper arms are fitted,and the bonnet will be whenever it comes.

i spoke to the camp commondant, and he laughed at me and called me a silly little girl (im 36) and cant understand why im upset as its only CAMPING

sorry for the rant,im upset.

i have calmed down now

thanks geoff, he is now relenting and trying to find the culprits. he says they are sticking together so has put the group on a charge (whatever that means)

i might even get recompensed..............eventually

im just worried we wont get it sorted in time,i will phone the site up to explain things and ask them to keep our pitch until we get there

To everyone that is travelling down tonight/ tomorrow have a safe journey, take it easy and we will see you all there

ps the car is sorted, my flag has arrived and we are sooo excited. Cornwall, here we come  

Hello - glad you are sorted skezza yes we in theory will be heading off at 3am tomorrow if I can get everybody up I probably wont go to bed. Still deciding on route this is the longest trip we have towed with and we had a problem with our Dandy from when we last came back - jockey wheel is broke - we can get round it sort of - dont want to spend anymore money on him (Just want a newer one)

Also something fell off the car yesterday - not being mechanics - not sure how important it is so I think we are going to chance it and hope for the best. May ask around here incase there is a mechanic in the know. Too late to get it to a garage really so ... lets hope its not too bad!

we are setting off about 1am-ish, and thats if i can also get the rabble up, ive had to `dose them up` with phenegrans as its the only thing that stops the dreaded car sickness

im not going to bed either cos im abit of a nite owl, and im much too excited and....im not driving,

the weather is going to be sun, sun ,sun and i will tell you why.........

.....because i have packed 5 sets of full waterproofs, hats scarfs & gloves, extra woolies,extra socks, three pairs of wellies and two pairs of hiking boots, oh and an umbrella  

and i promise to leave the sunblock and shades at home
