We are on our second brand new motorhome in 8 months purchased from Glossop caravans ( forced into the second purchase to get away from the faulty first one )
We were left without a brand new 70k motorhome for 8 months before they agreed to swap it at extra cost to ourself though.
Both have been sold not fit for purpose, this time leaving us stranded in Europe. And the response today was call Ford assist, no mention of them offering to repair or help ( it’s a 26 plate… 3 weeks old! )
Has anyone else had any issues with this company.
They have been awful throughout. Rude, aggressive, extremely inappropriate myself,
It would be interesting to see if this is a common theme

Hello,
Has anyone had issue with the park brakes on this model. 26 Plate… 3 weeks old
What is the issue?
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
We have no personal experience of them; very sorry to hear about yours. There are reviews on their website (I googled Glossop Caravan reviews), usual mix of 5/5 down to 1/5.
I filtered to see some of the lowest score reviews, and the owners had responded to all of them. Your complaints (that you’ve posted here on a public forum) will already have been put there, I assume, where the rest of us can read them in future. There might be other threads about them here on UKCS, but I haven’t checked.
As you will have found out already...the sales staff are very nice (mostly) it is the aftersales who are terrible ( we had a 9 month old caravan that had to go back for serious repair, long story but ended up bypassing them and going back to maker direct as couldn't get anywhere with them) so I feel your pain.
If it is anything to do with the base vehicle problems, Glossop won't be much help, then as Spiritburner said you'd be best getting in touch with Ford Assist. I'm sure they will have places all over Europe as Fiat do.
Have you got breakdown cover in place? If so, are they are help?
Good luck. As a aside, did you buy any of it on finance? perhaps a way of getting it resolved as they are jointly liable I believe.
Did you have any test trips away in Uk before setting off for Europe?
