Possibly on the verge of getting a motorhome having just had one in Australia for a couple of weeks and absolutely loved it.

I'm ideally looking for one with a pull out OR down bed above the drivers cab as well as a bed at the rear, don't really want one that has the bed that comes down over the lounge area as you can't sit there at the same time.

The only one I've found that ticks the boxes so far is the Auto-Trail Imala 720, if anyone knows of any others that aren't much longer than 7 mtrs (ideally shorter) and have a similar spec and could share, would really appreciate it.

Over cab drop down or fixed bed, plus fixed rear bed & an open lounge in the middle - is that right? Plus kitchen & WC, shower too, obviously. In 7m….
Adria (7.2m, can’t remember the model) might be worth checking: fixed rear bed over a garage & front lounge converts into a small double - ie not drop down or over cab.
We have central bench seats / sofas facing each other that quickly make into a huge double bed (ie not the fixed rear bed that you want). This is in an Auto-Sleeper Nuevo & it can come with a fixed double bed over the cab to sleep 4, all at 5.8m long.
In summary, you might have little choice or may have to make compromises to get a 7m vehicle, hopefully other people will have lots of suggestions for you.

Yes as per quoted ideally and realise I may have to make compromises, a garage may have to be one one of those although would be perfect if it had one and may end up having to go slightly bigger but ideally not.

Doesn't have to be lounge in the middle as well but a small area with table that can hopefully swing captain's chairs round to would be nice.

Will take a look for the Adria and see what I can find.

Have you had a look at A class models? These will offer you the most choice if you want an overcab bed (plus you won't need to climb so high to get in)

Most of these have a bed which pulls down either electric or manual over the cab and a bed at the back. Have a look on Autotrader and filter your needs, there are quite a few about that suits you needs, depending on budget at under 7m.
