Sunday 21 Feb, Channel 5, 8:00pm. New series. “The country’s most impressive Motorhomes.”
Hopefully ingenious layouts rather than gold taps, maybe a huge bed over the rear garage that converts to a jacuzzi.

I would probably need a bigger house with a bigger space to keep it outside!

Sure, if you had a MH like that, you wouldn't want a house.
Brings to mind a comment many years ago (even I was young). The time when the first Jumbo jet was starting to fly. The CEO at a small American airport was being interviewed and asked how the terminal building would cope with so many passengers. Answer, If one of those lands at this airport, IT IS the terminal building.

Twist my arms and I may consider living in one of these!

However, it needs to be able to keep a small car onboard as a local runaround once the van is parked up at a site.

Watching it as I type, and I came to the conclusion that money does not buy taste!

I prefer practicality over unnecessary luxury; therefore, one will not find gold taps and fittings in my van!

A macerating toilet still has to be emptied, like a chemical one. But now I know that some MHs do have a macerating toilet.
I did like the bar on the open upper deck though....

Perhaps a staff member comes on camping trips and stay in a staff room, who would do the chores like cleaning, cooking and emptying the toilets.

They are a bit big for some of our roads. Very nice though! Liked the off road beast.
The guy on his own with the £250 k one was a bit full of himself, snooty individual.

You surely would not let the staff sleep inside. That is what the roof is for.

You can keep all the 'posh' motorhomes but that off road beast is the stuff of our dreams.

Last time we tried off road camping was nearly 40 years ago in a battered up old Landrover Series 2 that we had made into a very basic campervan. Would love to do it again but with age comes the need for a bit more comfort. That van would really fit the bill. Husband is already mentally practising driving it (he loves off road driving). :-)

Not sure if I would fork out 60 GBP a night for the privilege of being in the company of campers of a certain pedigree, who would probably go round comparing their vans to see who has a deeper pocket!

I don't like one-upmanship. Not my kind of people and site, sorry.

Not my type of site or people either.
They can all bore each other talking about their very expensive motorhomes!
