I think you may have to drill through the back to place a bike rack. Alternatively why not fit a towbar and use a ball mounted rack?

Witters and Towsure do them so do Pennine in Pendle.

Hi, have a look at this site, this one is for a T25 but they're the same for a T4 van like yours, Just clips on top and bottom of rear hatch and very lightweight.

Hi Heppy    I own a trophy as well and there are two problems to your question as i asked the same questions to a dealer who didnt know if this could be done . Firstly you have to bear in mind that the rear bathroom is an extension to the original length of the van so getting a towbar might be a bit tricky as the standard one will be too short. Secondly you have to take into account the weight on the fibreglass bathroom extension if you were to fit a cycle rack and add say two bikes.

Can you answer a question for me . Does your van have a switch above and to the rear of the sink unit that operates a fan behind the fridge , also there is a switch in the same place that says fused on it .... what does this do

THANKS for replies still thinking about a cycle rack, Fazman, standing in front of the sink to the left in the corner are from top to bottom a fused switch this is to operate the water heater when on EHU below that a 3 pin 240 volt socket,at the bottom is a 2pin socket for 12 volt appliances I have no switches that operate a fan, maybe something that previous owner fitted to help keep fridge coll in very hot weather (not a lot of that about at the mo)
hope this helps

Thanks Mike & Liz

Does this mean that you dont have to switch the heater on with the cascade switch above the offside seats to get hot water when on EHU or does this have to be on as well.  Thanks again

Hi Fazman
you can have hot water with either electric heater or gas or even both for faster warm up time, to answer your question the cascade heater switch above seats only controls when using gas, the electric heater is seperate the heater element according to my Autosleeper manual is 660 watt, you should have a red light on the switch when in operation, if the water does not get warm the cut out switch may have been triggered acess to this is under off side seat

That was 15 years ago. If you go down the towball mounted route - I thoroughly recommend you take a look at buzzracks available from the roofbox company (and you get a forum discount). Their racks are much cheaper than the thule equivalents (especially their ebike ones) and decent quality.

I have their ebike one (the e-scorpion). I have had Thule and Pendle racks previously and I am impressed with the quality of Buzzrack e-scorpion.
