Hi peeps.

We've just joined the C&C Club and are surprised to see you can't actually book some places online, you have to ring up and book yourself. I thought the whole idea was they booked it for you; what exactly are we paying for?

You can get the sites off Search for Sites. Very disappointed.

You can usually book all the club sites online but the CS(Cerificated Sites) sites are normally booked via direct contact with the site as they are usually small, independent sites for just five vans and occasionally a few tents - members only.

As a member you get a members rate for the club sites and access to the CS sites, you usually get asked for your membership number when you book a CS (but not always!).

There are also rallies and temporary sites too and discount at a few retailers and independent sites with a membership card.

Never had a problem booking a club site online. However, it is important to remember that most of the sites you see on the search are privately owned so need to be booked with the individual owners. The CS sites are licensed by the club but not owned by the club. They are occasionally checked by a club inspector to ensure certain safety standards.
There are also many sites that are simply “listed” by the club but totally independent.

Quite a good system once you realise how it works.

I only use C&CC for its club sites, and have never experienced any issues with booking them online.

I am aware one might not be able to book their Certified Sites (CS) online, however, can't confirm as I don't use them.

They will all be different, some will have their own booking system, some have an email address, and there are still some that you have to phone. As said, they are privately owned.
