I am looking to buy a power invertor probably 1000w. I see a lot out there and from my own experience the one I had drew power from batteries even when it was not in use. I have seen one on YouTube channel that only draws power when connected to an appliance. Any help in locating one of these units most appreciated. 👍

I can’t see how any will not draw some power on standby, unless you switch them off. Some models can have a remote control for switching but is still going to take some power
