St Bees Beach near us, parking meter for through the day though. Allonby beach near Maryport is free and there is a pub opposite a shop and plenty of eateries. Both looking out over the sea. St Bees is on the coast to coast walk.

Hi Went to Black Rock sands last summer on the beach, resadents there not very nice as soon as we pulled up, won't go again keep "thier beach".
