On the same thread about batteries,  the battery on my van went flat it was a halfords battery so i took it to halfords to have it checked they tested it and said it was us and out of warranty, so i bought a new bosch battery from halfords which was ok for a while then went flat and would not recharge, so i took the battery off the van took it to a local parts shop to be given a booster charge they said motorhome batteries need a higher charging rate which a normal charger wont give. the alarm on my van is fed from the starter battery and over say 2 weeks with the van not used it flattens fhe battery. so if your van battery is flat and wont charge borrow a heavy duty charger.

I had same problem so went to MAPLINS and bought a solar panel charger and left it connected to the main battery this has done the job.The panel only cost £9.99 as it was half price result.
