Was going to suggest the Quechua too :) We use it alongside our sliding door. Use it as an awning but also have the inner that Victoria mentioned so it can be used as a bedroom. Excellent tent! (We have two and they join together for longer stays)
If you can grab one at the current bargainous price I would!
Wow, so much info, I can't believe I found it so hard to get started on this search and now it seems they are everywhere in all shapes and sizes, The "Quechua base seconds" looks to be a winner which ever way you look at it at that price. I've tracked one down so I think that's the one. I've always shy'd away from "Pop up's" even small ones after one I bought just after they 1st came out, the thing went off inside my old Scimitar. It was like a cross between the Quatermass experiment and an inflatable dingy, Damm near took my head off. trying to get it back down was like trying to juggle jelly. If the Packa Shack had a window it would be perfect.
Hi Franbee, No not Free flight, Control Line. Think of those old Cox ready to fly beasties from the 70's and you get the idea, but obviously a lot bigger and better (Boys and their toys). Al Rabe - Snaggletooth. If you had seen us Camp or me fly you would understand the forum name, just about sums me up. Oh, that's not me flying (I wish)...

What about one of these. It's a Quechua base seconds from Decathlon. They're being discontinued but what stock there is around is selling for about £30. For an extra £19.99 you can get an inner which turns it into a double skinned tent, with it's own integrated groundsheet.
I found the pic on a forum with a google search so apologies if someone reads this and it's your van, I photobucketed the registration number off.
I second the Base Seconds.Easy to put up and down. Not so easy in a strong wind if you are on your own. I have a Fiat Doblo and its a good fit-either at the side or at the back.
I really can't fathom out why they've discontinued these?!
I'd assumed they were replacing it with something else but I haven't come across an updated version(..other than the units with the shrouds for the pop-up tents).
I'm now wishing I'd bought one last year, when they were about for £29.99..
(..if I recall correctly, someone had said that they were only £19.99 in one store! )
Pepe63 says cant think why, I got one cheap last year only used it twice up to now, and the only reason I can think of is It should of had some ties higher up to save blowing in.
If you go to the photos in the Quechua section mine is the one that looks like Bubble Gum on your face lol.
Still love it though, got it to go with the 3sec air we have, but now seeing it against that VW could use it with our Granvia.
