another question as well - what do you do abotu bedding - did you find it cold - did you have sleeping bags or did you make p proper beds with duvets etc... for ultimate luxury? can you tell i am overhtinking it.......
take your usual bedding from home ,, can't imagine using a bag to sleep in , if you have a proper bed ,,
the m/h is permanently vented , even with the vents closed you have a slight vent , i always have an oscillating electric fan with me too, just in case ,,
We bought our brand new motorhome in March so are quite amatuer (were caravanners)
Did you find any nice spots to go in the New Forest and that area? We are booked in at Blacknowl CC site for a couple of days mid June but have left the rest of the week open to tour and stop where we like. Like the look of the forest sites, did you stop at any?
We stayed at Lytton Lawn. Have stayed Roundhill and Holmsley before which are Forest Holiday sites. We passed a couple of the more remote Forest Holiday sites which looked really nice, cant remember names though. If you're looking for places to go with motorhome we went to Wilverley Plain easy parking, also Milford on Sea has about 3 carparks on sea front with no height barrier has great fish and chip shop in village also! Sainsburys in Christchurch was easy to park in.
we are fromthenorth east so were not plannign on going down that far because it would cost us a bomb in fuel and dh wants to enjoy hisbreak rather than driving on motorways .
