It's C & CC all the way for us I am afraid.
Have joined the CC twice and twice let it lapse, partly due to the farcical booking system and the mad december booking so I can never get a club pitch when required and partly due to the snobbish attitude of wardens and some members and their keeping up with the Joneses attitude. far too regimented for our liking.
We also have friends with tents who are not welcome on CC sites so thats another reason!
I also like to decide at short notice about rallys and wkends away due to work & school commitments and with CC you have to book in advance for a rally which I don't like either especially as C &CC you can just turn up.
The CC are good at European holidays & ferry discounts though in their favour but I still would be really hard pushed to want to rejoin.
This debate rears its ugly head quite frequently and there are very strong opinions for and against each club so I think that the best thing is to join both for a yr if you can afford it and see which suits.

Good Luck!

Some Club members (either club) only stay at Club sites - that may swing the decision (though gosh! it limits where to go). We had to join CCC initially as we had a tent. We stay with CCC because it seems that fewer of the Certificated Locations with CC have toilets than CCC's Certificated Sites.  If you use your motorhome facilities all the time, the presence or absence of facilities on site won't matter. In that case, I agree with a previous response - put your favourite area into ukcampsite's map search facility, and see which Club has its own sites or Certificated sites for members only in that area.
