It's part of the Terms. Britstops itself can be mentioned but they ask that you don't mention the actual places that are part of the scheme on forums/social media. Unfortunately a lot of folk seem to have a 'if I don't post it, it didn't happen' outlook.

There are other well supported free schemes backed by comphrehensive apps & poi files that include many of the same locations as Britstops. Some extend abroad too. They also have Facebook groups but they are full of questions from folk asking where to camp who don't seem to realise there's an app!

As in tents? Not aware of one. The apps I use are for self contained (eg toilet, water) motorhomes & campervans.
