I use Tesco, but because I don't use it very much I am charged at their 'Tesco-lite' rate ( 4p a minute ). I don't think that they advertise this rate but if you ring them they will give it to you. I also seem to get a good signal everywhere.

They haven't actually stolen it. If you ring them, they'll give it back to you. I had this with my O2 sim. And I think you'll find it's 3 months or 90 days. If you don't think you're going to use it for that length of time, just ring your house phone or something, answer it so it registers as a chargeable call, then hang up.
