Ha ha, I think that would mean divorce for us! I have driven OH mad! We are using Jerba in North Berwick. We bought a Kombi last year always with the intention of getting it converted.
We have had a great time just driving about as a Kombi .
I could say it may not be the last van I buy but it's the last one I take thru the pains of conversion 😅

In our younger days we would turn up at a posh site and ask to look around with the view to staying.
Wander around the site, visit the shower block and thoroughly test it by having a shower and then carry on.
Decide the site was not for you, politely thank the owners and then leave.
Immoral but saved a fortune
How times have changed since you were booted out of Dale Farm. At least you still sell your lucky heather.

Camping Les Gorges du Loup
When we had our campervan, on the rare occasion we used a cl without facilities we used a large flexible bucket, some warm water and just had an all over wash behind the windbreak or in the driveaway awning. That was on the rare occasion I bothered to wash. A packet of wetwipes do wonders. I grew my hair long enough for a ponytail to save having to wash that as well. 🤗🤗😜
Ha ha I have to say we are very much the same but I have aske my sister to come away with me for a week. I don't like commercialised sites and she is high maintenance.
Hair washed and straighten every day!!!!!
It's hard to believe we are related sometimes.
