Hi, don`t have a compressor, if i turn the pump around may be able to use that to back flow the pipe to the tank, as for no filter, i don`t know why although it does look as though the pump may have been changed at some time previously.
The yellow lever near the Truma is usually the valve to drain the water heater, if you open it water should flood out underneath the van. It’s for venting and draining the water heater hence air could be trapped in it, long shot I know but worth looking at
Hi,
My friend recently had a similar problem which turned out to be the yellow drain valve.Although the yellow lever was lifting to the drain position the valve was not opening. He replaced the valve and all was well.
Out of interest, I am assuming your syatem is a pressure drop system and not micro switches. Is there an adjustable pressure switch?.
Hope you can get this sorted.
Regards,
Greg
Hi, thanks to all for the post`s, have gone through the system with a fine toothed comb, not found anything visually untoward, as the motorhome is 14yrs old and some things must be worn somewhere, i have decided to bite the bullit and replace the pump/new filter/truma drain valve and all new pipes, to be honest other than a new battery charger recently, i have not had to spend a penny on the vehicle in over 2.5yrs of my ownership, so at approx £120 to replace the lot isn`t really too bad, parts should arrive by early next week so will keep you posted, once again many thanks.
