Hi
I think it's a good idea to have a section for large outfits / rv's etc so people can discuss all aspects of ownership.
Mazzey and Chatterdog, do you not have a black tank flush on your rv's?
I've owned a fifth wheel trailer for a good while and would be happy to discuss all aspects of rv life with anyone.

Hi Creaky. Thanks for your interest. We don’t have a flush on ours, but we do have a wild wand which is supposed to spin around under pressure.!

Hiya
Really no need for a magic wand or whatever. rv tank sensor lights are notoriously unreliable but as most tanks are at least 40 gallons it's easy to manage the levels by gauging average use. I empty my black tanks weekly and have only flushed once in 2 years.
There's a lot more interesting things to discuss regarding rv's / large motorhomes. There's lots of things I'd like to know yet I have 5 years of rv ownership expeience I'd be happy to share.

Hi creaky ive had 3 5th wheel trailers in the past and now have the Aclass Coachmen
my 5vers in order of year were a 1996, 2004, 2007, all american imports. When i had mine there was not that many over here, although miles better interior wise re - comfort and bathroom facs compared to european units, compared to todays 5th wheel units they were basic with small slideouts infact my first one had no slideouts at all.
Ive pulled them all round parts of europe over the years i had them as well as round parts of the uk.

Hi
Does anyone else have an american rv/ fifth wheel/travel trailer? Or if anyone has an interest in these outfits, there are a few of us on here more than happy to share experience. It costs less than you think to own an american. It's all about the space!

Hi all, we have an American RV and just finishing renovating it. Booked for Eurotunnel in Feb after retiring this Xmas. Scared and excited at the same time. Booked in Europe for the 3 months max period before coming back to England and travelling around until we go back next winter, it will be an experience and I am sure we will have learnt a lot by the time we come back. Just looking for the best WiFi system, as we will be working virtually at times.    I will follow this thread to learn share experiences.

Sue,

Hi Sue. Hope you enjoy your trip. What’s your outfit? Keep in touch.
