The thing that would worry me would be having it disappear abroad. That happened twice to a small company that used to hire out campervans near where I used to live. That is why they stopped doing it. I went up there with the intention of hiring one and found that they no longer did it, and they told me the reason why. It was never actually proven that they had gone abroad but that is what the police told them was the most likely. I am also convinced that's what happened to my Mazda Bongo, as no trace of it was ever found. Either that or it was stripped for parts.
