We have a hose with a rubber end on it rolls down to fit different taps, Allan is out at the moment I don't take much notice, when he gets back if we have anything different I'll get back to you, we definatly do not use spanners. More often than not he just fills up a container and pours it in through a funnel.
We usually get on site get everything out and then remember we should have filled up on way in.
It's Donnas other half. Photos are on my profile now. Donna provided some of the specs but they also include aircon, 3.6Kva generator and CD giving us music throughout. Emptying tanks will take time as there is seperate waste for sink, shower and toilet. The onboard water tank is 160 litres (45 gal)!
Yes, it has washbasin/vanity unit, electric flush toilet, full shower with half bath, wall mounted panel heater and electric extractor fan - trying them all out this next week!
We have tested the motorhome, we had four days in Suffolk in Feb and had lovely weather. His lordship bought a hose pipe (told him so!!) on the second day and all went well. The first night we used a 5 litre container and boiled the saucepan for the old nightly wash routine.
We only had two problems, one being that the matress in the overhead cab got very wet against the outside wall. And he himself got covered in loo waste cos he cocked up when opening the shoot - ok it wasn't nice to larf at him but it was bloody funny to watch!!!!!!! We are now going to take a big black bucket to empty it into.
I can honestly say after camping for 20 years in tents and caravans the Motorhome is tops and we can't see us going back to being tuggers.

Hence the winter-panels in caravans, leaving 1 cm of air space between wall and panels. These provide ventilation. You could apply something similar too.
And about the waste: didn't he forget to press the aeration-button, the button that lets air in the cassette, when the waste is flowing out. If one forgets that one can get dirty indeed... I know...(don't laugh again)
We have talked about winter panels and it shouldnt be too hard to accomplish. No I didn't forget the aeration button as it does not have a cassette toilet. It's more like a commercial coach toilet that has an internal holding tank and 4" waste outlet underneath the vehicle with a slide valve - it got stuck, then released rather quickly!
