Hi Colinbess- regards the odour from the SOG system, the write ups and reports state that there is no unpleasant smell from the toilet when in use or afterwards, but do say that on emptying at the disposal site the smell is far stronger, than if you were using chemicals. That means that your bathroom would not be suffering from your original complaint.  kiev

I find cleaning the cassette everyday helps – there is no build up of number 1's or 2's if the children have to go in the night.

A good rinse of water prior to emptying solves the stench issue.

we used elsan double blue and double rinse, double concentrated. we also put a cap full of
zalflora in bottom tank as well.no smells.we have used these products for the past three years .
