Heh! you lot are more amusing than Ricky Gervais,.. although thats not difficult!
Sorry to read of your disability being down to an 80yr old T4, but there's plenty of similar muppets among the young as well. If some had been brought up on the 'arm signalling' in the '50's they'd appreciate an easy little indicator switch out of the rain! If they all knew how to negotiate a roundabout in the correct lane with signals it'd be a help too, just so we know where they're going.
As a newbie, I'm looking forward to 'bumping' (not literally!) into some of you folks when we get some sun later.
Hardly anyone stops today,.....................its the way the world has just gone,at least the bonus of being stuck somewhere with a motorhome/caravan you can always make a cup of tea while you wait the nice rac man or other breakdown service,...........personally i would stop and help folk but thats just the way i am.......... and i too realise a lot of older folk who are enjoying there retirement and brought a motorhome may never of changed a spare wheel in there life,............. some of us are lucky in that our jobs involve fixing motors or have an active knowledge of mechanics. Theres only one thing you can do in this life and thats to help each other, bestest wishes Billybun
You sound a lovely, sweet, kind, caring and non judgemental genteman and it's a pity there are not more people in the world like you!
I know my husband would also stop and help someone he passed on the road who were obviously having problems changing their spare wheel etc and he would never be so unkind as to condem or critisise them for not having the knowledge to do it themselves but that's why I love him cos he is a very nice man with a kind heart and a helpful nature!
I wonder why some people always seem so cross, angry and intolerant of others so much? They cannot possibly be leading happy lives can they? When you are nice to people - surely the world is a far nicer place to live in? Therefore, it goes without saying that if you are unpleasant and angry towards folk, your world must be a pretty dismal one?

------------- The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart.
The official recommendation is that you should not change a tyre yourself on the hard shoulder of a motorway, but should call out the breakdown service to do it for you.
But anyone who hasn't kept up to date with things might not know that.
