The absolute eye-opener for me this year has been a single induction hob from Aldi. Our MH has a double gas hob but I have tried lots of things to use outside on EHU and nothing has really worked well (very hard to get a consistent heat for simmering things for instance). Since buying this I use it nearly every day in the kitchen at home, and when we go camping it is light and takes up very little room. At low to moderate temps. it also uses very little current.

And thanks all for your info on windscreen covers, there’s so much to think about, I didn’t even think about these.. I’ll look into the ideas suggested.
