It stands for Jet Turbo Diesel.

The difference between TD and JTD is that JTD is a fuel injection system where the fuel injection is under constant pressure to the engine, this produces a better power delivery, and a more responsive engine.

common rail injection system,high pressure pump and injectors controled by solonoid style relays which open to inject the fuel.all very nice and efficient.only one problem ????big time problem??? its all controlled by sensors and onboard electronics,so its aither a bosh dealership for repair the main dealer ... expensive....
