Hi I just wondered if anyone had fitted a sun canopy on a T4 with a raising roof.
I have seen the Fiamma ones but it looks like you need to drill holes in the van to mount the bracketd which is something I am reluctant to do,                               any advice would be appreciated.

   thanks

Hi i think for a solid fixing you will have to drill to fix the brackets with any awning.

the brackets on my fiamma are riveted on if you do decide to fit one put some silicone on the fixings , it will help stop any ingress of water etc and also coat the backs of the brackets with vaseline or similar.

Hi Delboy.

Thanks for your reply,I realy dont want to drill the van I was thinking about some kind of bracket similar to those used for roof bars I wondered if they could be adapted.I dont want the canopy to be a permanent fixture because I have a cover on the van.

                                Thanks

i think i understand where you are coming from , why not contact fiamma tech dept they may be able to help.

Or speak to a fabricator who could make up some brackets for you .
