Hi 2kias, we too like you go away in our motorhome to get away from it all - we own a busy shop in a seaside town and we love nothing more than to relax and unwind and take to the open roads especially after a busy summer season serving all the tourists and holiday makers that flock here in their droves - but our desire to get away from it all, is not spoilt one little bit by taking a tv along with us. If we dont wish to watch it we dont switch it on but if we do fancy tuning in then we have the choice to do so. I dont really understand why what I or anyone else does seems such a big deal to some people and as long as your don't have to follow suit than why give it a second thought?

2kias as much as you are 'amazed' by people taking television and satellite equipment away with them I am as equally 'amazed' by the amount of people who seem so interested in what their fellow campers are doing and I find it 'amazing' that so many people seem to sit and watch with such obvious fascination the setting up proceedures of those around them and I can happily say that I am too busy enjoying myself to be so bored as to find myself with so little to do with my time than to sit and stare!

Anyway, I will say no more on the subject as I feel it will just lead on to another tedious debate and personally I agree with JohnG and wonder what this has to do with trying to help the original poster.

Sooh

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart.
