We are hoping to go on an extended trip to Europe next year and our current motorhome insurers won't insure us for trips of more than 6 months. I've tried some others and found the same problem.
Any ideas anyone please?

Perhaps if you belong to one of the two main clubs they would be able to help, CC or CCC. Its worth an enquiry and joining one to get the cover will be no hardship, and may save you some money in the long run. kiev------------- kiev

Thanks - I did ask Saga and they said they didn't but I'll try again.
We're off next week for foru months to France and Italy - never done it before and so extremely excited but also feel a little strange about being away from home for that long. I'll do my best to get used to it though!

for me at under 25 the camping clubs would'nt insure me or would charge a very inflated price so i had to settle for 180days cover abroad with a 90 day max in 1 time. its a pain but works out over £700 cheaper using NU then one of the clubs so it was worth it for us.
