Hiya Dave & Sally

Welcome to UK Campsite!

We had a Swift Sundance 590RL but it was a 2006 model.  We loved the L-shaped seating area (our caravan was that style so we knew it was good for us!).  We loved ours and had a really good year in her last year.  Didn't have any problems other than the glass cooker top/lid not sitting right and rattling on every journey!  The only reason we upgraded her was because we wanted a fixed bed model and couldn't really afford one at first.

Enjoy yours!

Hiya Dave & Sally

That's my pleasure! Hey, I wave to everybody.......even forget when I'm in the car and wave to camper then!!!  They probably think I'm nuts?!

We've just got back from a wonderful weekend away in North Devon (short hop for us) and the weather couldn't have been better.

Wish we were off for another 2 weeks like you though!

Have a great time, where-ever your decide to head for!

Kernow Camper

Hi Kernow Camper

Thanks for reply. We picked our motorhome yesterday and drove it from Ipswich to Cambridge . Very nice to drive but like you said the glass cooker top rattled all the

way . What a noise.

We have decide to start our holiday going down to Lyme Regis to visit family for a day or two and then set off for pastures new . Do you know this area and if so can you recommend any good camping sites . We really want to see alot of places and

also want to go to the Cheddar Gorge . We will be using our Tom Tom most of the time . With a proper map as you cant always rely on Tom Tom to take you to the corrrect place Thanks again for reply Dave & Sally

Hiya Dave & Sally

You lucky things.  You must be really excited?!

Spookily we're doing a similar area in September!!!!

Check out the sites below through the "camp site search" by typing in the name of the site:-

We stayed in Charmouth (and walked to Lyme Regis!) last year on a site called SEADOWN.  Small site, good facilities and short walk to Charmouth beach (through the site).

We're staying at EAST FLEET FARM, WEYMOUTH in September and SALCOMBE REGIS CAMPING & CARAVAN PARK, SALCOMBE REGIS.  Can't tell you what the sites are like yet but check them out for yourselves as they both have quite good reviews.  We're also staying in Cheddar (how spooky is that?) for a few days on an adults only site called CHEDDAR BRIDGE.  Again it's our first time there so you'll need to see for yourself what it's like!

If you are members of the Caravan Club I'd recommend any of their sites as they are all top quality (we did 2 weeks touring in May/June up to Scotland and back down and only used CC sites - all highly recommended!).

We also have TomTom.  It's great but still doesn't stop the arguments!!!!  I still read the map upside down, like most women!  If you need any more advice, let me know!

Have a great time.  I'd love to know where you go and end up staying.......coz I'm nosey!

I put a small blob of blutack at one corner of the glass lid, it stops it rattling and stays in place when the cooker is in use.

Phil.
