Going to stay near Kielder water in a couple of weeks, does anyone know if the car parks around the area have height barriers please,

No, the main ones certainly didn't last year.

They do charge for the day. though - there's no short-term parking charge, and as I only wanted to visit the souvenir and gift shop at the Visitor Centre at Leaplish and it would have cost me £2 to park for about a thirty minute stop while I spent my money in their shop, I didn't bother - so their greed cost them my custom.
