...to sell my campervan. I have pondered about this decision for a few weeks now, weighing up the pros and cons. It was a difficult decision to come to but have decided we are going back to tent camping using our Land Rover towing a trailer. Am I mad....is this a backwards move or what? I am going to use the money from my camper and the awning, etc. to buy a nice sized tent for the five of us and a trailer for the Landie.

You'll regret it I'm sure. How long have you had your T25? I don't think I could part with mine, it's become part of the family. I know they are money pits but there's nowt like pulling up on a site in the rain and putting the kettle on while the 'tenters' are getting p*ss wet through. I went from years in a tent to my VW and I don't think I could go back.
Anyway, each to their own and have fun whatever you decide.
I've had her for five years now. I can't imagine what it's going to be like not having her anymore. Will definately be quite wierd. Does that sound silly?

No, that don't sound silly. Funny things these VWs, you get kind of hooked on 'em. They're not just another campervan/motorhome, they're a way of life if you know what I mean?
Anyway you decide what's right for you. You could always get another if you don't get on with your tent.
A lad at work went from a folding camper thingy back to a tent but, within a few weeks he had bought another folder
