Not sure if it has been raised on this forum but many (23 I've heard of) Owners of new Fiat 130 Multijet vehicles, me included, have rain water streaming over the the engine and injectors! Please test with a water with the bonnet open. Pour water around the join at the bottom of the window near the windscreen wipers. All thw water should go down the drain hole at the side....not onto the engine. Contact Fiat and complain!
The water is also going inside the van due to faulty windscreen seals. I have heard of people trying to fix using gaffer tape and bathroom sealent as a temp fix while the suppliers have been dragging thier feet trying to get this sorted out.
The peugeot based vans are affected too and they have got a fix already sorted out. You need to go to a peugeot garage and it will be done under warranty.
There have also been problems with the starter motors, there are over 700 on order for the UK so this is a widespread problem with the '07 new type chassis.
Hopefully no one is having any of these problems but if they are, then get to your supplier asap to get it sorted out.
We have a '07 model Auto-Trail Cheyenne 660SE based on the new Fiat enginee/chassis.
I have printed off this very useful info for OH to test out over the weekend.
I'll be straight onto them if we have a problem!
Thanks again,
Sharon (Kernow Camper)

I did think of you and your new van when I heard about this fault. From the other forums I am a member of it seems is a common. If you want to read about some of the faults people have had, look on http://www.motohomefacts.com some of the members there have posted names and addresses and phone numbers of who to contact if you have this problem.
All I can so is so far so good with ours but I guess you never know? We've been away in her 4 times this year so far and haven't come across the problems mentioned so maybe we have been very lucky? I'll go onto the link you've given me and read all about it though.
Thanks again,
Sharon

We've just been out to investigate ours and there doesn't seem to be a problem. She started up first time and has been sat on our drive for 3 weeks since our last trip. We even tipped water over the windscreen to see where it went and it looks as though it drains away through a couple of 'channels' under the bonnet?
Anyway, thanks for the warning and advice. It's much appreciated. That's what's great about UKCS!
Off to meet up with some fellow campers now, who we met up in North Devon 3 weeks ago. They're from Wolverhampton and are staying in Bude for the weekend! Another great thing about camping - the social life!!!
Cheers,
Sharon
