I have just bought a Ford Flair Autosleeper 1989 F reg with no manual and can't find the water tank to fill - maybe I'm being dim but looked in the usual places, can see pipes from the sink and tank under van bu no filler.
Would appreciate help - thanks!

Hello,

We have a D reg Ford Flair Autosleeper. On our model, the water tank cap is located on the drivers side towards the rear of the vehicle. You lift up the plastic flap to reveal the cap which has a lock in it, exactly the same as with the petrol cap. If you look directly below this cap, you will then see the water tank itself.

We hope this will help out!!!!!!

There is a cap held on by a phillips screw under the van thats attached to a broken pipe but doesn't look as if I could fill it as its pointing down - will have to get back to dealer as pipe is broekn anyway - thanks for the help though!

I have a 1989 Flair. The water filler is under the bonnet, in the front left-hand corner as you look at the van. hope that helps!

Ed.

My dad has one, but he's away at the moment, so I can't check on his, but I'm sure it's on the drivers side, about half way down. Sounds like they put them anywhere they felt like on the day.
If you are following the pipes from the sink, but cannot see a filler, are you sure you are not looking at the waste water tank mounted across the back?

Thanks, have found it under bonnet, waste tank is on the side just in front of rear wheel - is odd the way they all seem to be different when they are same sort of year.
Thanks
