We have recently bought a Talbot Express Rambler, its in great condition for its year E Reg. There is only 1 key that operates the ignition and opens all the doors. I have tried getting one cut, but was told I would have to get a blank from Talbot, there are no numbers on the key that I have. If anyone can help please as, we worried if we lose the key we will be camping on the drive

John

I would try other Key Cut Places. I had a Talbot on a G Reg and the spare keys i had were NOT originals, you could see that they were just blanks that had been cut by a shop. Just because one shop doesnt have blanks, doesnt mean another one wont either.

Ahh, dont bother with the mains stream places, the smaller locksmiths/key cutters will be a better bet, If they dont have it in, they have a catalogue of vehicle makes, and can get nearly any key you need, a Talbot shouldnt be that hard! whereas the mainstreams if they dont stock it, tough!
