well i am still looking for our motorhome only difference is we now have the money . We keep changing our minds , our thinking at the moment is A class such as adria vision or burstner aviano/elegance the reasons behind this is mainly the driving position i am fairly tall and find that i have resticted vision with the screen i seem to be looking at the wheels in front and i would rather be looking up ,if i lower the seats it feels uncomfortable with the pedals too close and knees up . we would like to do some extended trips and slob/lounging is required plus 2 dogs.

any thoughts or advice on this also we really like the autocruise starblazer and have been waiting for vals saga to end

ps- we had a year in oz in 2002/03 bought a camper in sydney went all round sold it in perth a year later and only lost £200 on the value just a thought for anybody thinking of going down under .

 regards

Hi palaceboy,

Thanks for living the long drawn out saga of the Starblazer with me!!

We are finally taking delivery on Saturday!

It has been a trial and I honestly felt like telling them to stick it!

However, having seen the Motorhome it really was worth the wait,we are fortunate enough to have full warranty on it and I am optimistic that the new Swift buy out will not be detrimental to out purchase. It is also the new 2008 model which has a few subtle changes which are cosmetic improvements.

We have an Autocruise Starfire and that has been a great Motorhome,we can not fault the build or after sales service of Autocruise.

We have noticed that the new peugeot cab gives you a lower driving position, more car like so we shall have to see what we think of it once we finally get out on the road with it.

We looked at various fixed bed options, including A class but always came back to the Starblazer!

Hope you find the Motorhome of your dreams,I shall be posting photos of the Starblazer next week and I will give you an honest opinion of what we think once we get out and about in it!

Val

hi sasquatch

yes we do like the hymers but new are so expensive and we are not keen on the dinette arrangement.Where we live in cambridgeshire there are so few dealers and we have found very few second hand models .
