I dislike many if not most campsites due to many OAP's waking at 6 AM and washing their vans then spending half an hour trying to get their vans out.
Merry Christmas and happy campievanning to all
I agree Aquarolls/wastemaster emptying at 6.30am on a Sunday morning is a bit much. Love watching the caravan shenanigans though, the arm waving when hitching up and testing lights is great fun to watch.
Anyone know why people with caravans carry everything with them ALL year. Last weekend at Abbey Wood a caravan with no awning but 2 chairs outside ready, it was freezing ! we leave ours at home unless it looks like a heatwave as not a lot of room.
Hi just been to Ferry Meadows near Peterborough and was told to pick a pitch, and once we had done that to let them know which pitch we had chosen, and if we went out to leave a pitch marker to make it easier for others as they chose their pitch..............made me think about this post LOL

Whats all this then re, marking pitches and pitch markers, why don't you all do what i do, i leave the missus there sitting on a chair reading her best mag till i comeback! Now where has she put that bottle?
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
