can i fit the figure of eight rod to the fiamma awning when closed to attach a movelite xl awning, would it cause too much strain on the fiamma cassette

Open the awning a small bit then attach the beading into the fig of 8 and hook onto the leading edge of the fiamma. Then wind back in so that the fig of 8 is held in place. Peg down and it should stay put.
