Yes it is mad I agree, but that is the ridiculous anomoly that motorhomes 3500kg and under are £180 and 3500kg upwards are £165.
It makes it good value for those who have a 9 tonne rv I suppose. But we all can guess which causes more road wear and pollution, that or a 1800kg Romahome ?
I agree with you Jana, they do this for the white van man so as it appears they are not taking the hell out of the transport industry. It is a no brainer as to which one causes more damage.
I think they should scrap the road fund licence and put a certain amount on the price of petrol, that way, those who use the road more pay more - only fair

That suggestion has been banded about for a long time, but it's too simple for the no-brainers in Whitehall to comprehend. It would also eliminate the tax dodgers at a stroke. We'd then get these one-time tax dodgers, pushing their vehicles around the streets, to avoid paying for fuel. LoL Lol Lol
