I know there has been forums on this before but can't find them. We will soon be getting our new/second-hand motorhome and would like any advice on taking our cat with us when we go away.
Hi,I would check first to see if the sites you want to stay on accept cats.you may have to keep the cat on some sort of lead like a dog,and keep it inside or restrained in some sort of way like a dog has to be,especialy if there is wild life or birds that are in or around the site,I have known in lincolnshire some farmers have shot cats that are on their land,as they have no way of telling if the cat is domesticated or ferral, you also may not know if there is a breading area near the site for grouse and game birds as they call them,I do know these breading areas are patrolled by game keeper with shotguns, just a thought, hope it helps,
------------- Think this year is to follow old meet friends for 2014.
If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.

We have 4(Four) Persians and take them with us all the time, as stated, ask site owner if its OK, but we have never had any trouble the site owner's usually think its a wind-up until we arrive and the cat's appear, we have never had them on leads, they have a quick sniff around then they stay very close to our unit, my pussies are part of the family, and like going away too. regards David
