I want to mount a lcd tv on the wardrobe wall of my Bessecar using an adjustable wall bracket. Has anyone done this and if so what is the best way to strengthen the wall to spread the load?

I fitted my LCD today

The supports between the plywood facings are horizontal. So I used a length of suitable hardwood about 4" wide and long enough (24") to stretch vertically between two supports. To be extra sure I used a piece of rigid perspex, the same size as the hardwood, on the inside of the wardrobe. I screwed from the inside through the perspex and wall into the 'back' of the hardwood.

I think that this site has a problem with photos but will try tommorrow if required.

Interesting question mate, if it's single skinned i would make a back plate out of ply or MDF. If it's double skinned drill mounting holes through both inner & outer, from the inside make holes larger so you can sleeve the void, i would use the plastic spacers that you use on corrogated roof sheets, that will prevent the two sides compressing together. Then bolt it all together using lock nuts & large washers on inside of wardrobe
