Does anybody know where I might start to look for replacement cupboard door catches for a Leisuredrive T25 VW conversion circa 1987? I have spoken with Leisuredrive and they were not very helpful to say the least. I appreaciate that there are always Scrap Yards but I would rather not spend hours on fruitless journeys when I could be doing better things.
Cant be specific, but most dealers with a decent accessory shop sell a variety of different catches, they may not have the same one as yours, but quite likely something that will fit,
i got my replacement catches from a local caravan and motor home dealer, hes a small independent company in poole and carries loads of things. try looking in the phone book for local dealers you might get lucky, i looked in wilkos and other diy shops but didnt have the same type of catch as mine, but would have made do if didnt find the correct ones
I have some spare cupboard catches but they are the normal caravan 'ball' catch, I think that's what they are called. Whereabout in Surrey are you? It's not a vast County so I am sure you can't be to far away.
Let me know if you want to have a look and I will stock up again. You can have them at the price I paid.
There is a very good camping & caravan near us at North Camp.
Thank you all for your advice but I'm still unable to locate any of the right pattern/style. How ever being a good scout and always resouceful and prepared I have swapped one from a slightly stiff sliding draw with the cupboard and no one will ever know,
