Hi,

I am relatively new to caravanning.  I have recently bought an Elldis Illusion Caravan, only to find that 2 of the 4 feet are broken.  Can anyone advise if they are easy to replace or does it have to be done by a professional.

Many Thanks

Kerry

The local garage fixed mine - but that was on a campervan! They were bent, not broken quite as the previous owner had driven off with the legs down! Try the caravanning section of the site, the ppl there might be able to help.

I know there are the odd mobile mechanics still about so try the yellow pages or yell.com and ask around for a quote.

hey kerryc i think you will find they are only bolted into place the same as most campers so all you have to do is remove about 8 bolts and the unit should be in your hands . refitting is just a reversal of the removing method very easy.

Hope this helps you.
