Can anyone help...?  Due to depart Heysham ferry terminal in some silly hour on Sunday morning to go to the Manx GP.  Coming from Devon, we are setting off early tomorrow...however, I guess that we will be at the ferry terminal incredibly early.  Does anybody know of anywhere where we can pull up and stop while we wait for our crossing?  I was looking at campsites in a hope that there may have been some near Heysham that offer a 'pre-ferry' service, but there does not appear to be.

There are a few sites north of Morecambe, but you could park on the the sea front most of the day, it's long enough to find a space somewhere even if you have to walk back a bit. Not sure about overnight, but you will see other motor homes / campervans about so have a chat with them.
