There appears to be problem with the rubber hoses leaching a fluid which damages the regulator.

Stainless steel hose will eliminate the problem

It seems like a regulator problem or leaky hoses.

On another concern don't forget to turn the bottles off before filling.  I've spent several fruitless miles to fill up and then unable to 'coz I'd left the bottles turned on!

There's nothing in my instructions either, palaceboy!  I contacted my supplier who confirmed e bottles have to be off but I have to say that I haven't yet tried to fill with them off.  I have tried with them open, with no success.
